Join Unlock Runcorn for a day of boats, heritage, music, cask ale and fun along the Bridgewater Canal at Top Locks on Saturday the 21st March.  We’ll be celebrating the Semiquincentennial (250th anniversary) of the opening of the Bridgewater Canal at Runcorn.

There will also be the formal launch of Fraeda, our new Widebeam boat, with the Mayor of Halton cutting the ribbon at 1pm.  Volunteers from the charity will be on hand with information about out Boat Trips and the Unlock Runcorn project.  Rosie Black Patisserie will also be there with free samples of the catering we provide on board.

There’ll be live music and a chance to sample a special cask ale, Aethelflaed, brewed especially for the event and donated by Small Batch Brewery.
